Choquequirao: 4 Days - 3 Nights

1st day: Cusco - Cachora (2900 masl) - Rosalina (1510 masl)

Early in the morning we will depart from Cusco city, in our private bus, four hours approx. To Cachora village. There, after resting and a briefing about our route, we will continue the trek for three hours until reaching Rosalina, a village of the river Apurimac. There we will camp for the first night.

2nd day: Rosalina - Choquequirao (3030 m.a.s.l.)

This day due to the hot weather of the Apurimac canyon, in early in the morning we start. After crossing a bridge, above the Apurimac river, our trek will be uphill, through a moderate slope Which Will Lead Us to Choquequirao.

3rd day: Choquequirao archeology site (3030 masl)

Early in the morning, we will have our guided visit of the archeological complex of Choquequirao. The tour lasts about three hours, after lunch we will return, by the same way to Chiquisca camp, down hill to spend the night.

4th day: Chiquisca (1950 masl) - Cachora - Cusco

This day after having advanced in the hiking uphill, we will continue to walk to Cachora. Approximately six hours during the day, arriving to Cachora where a private bus will be waiting for us to return to Cusco, arriving at night to the city center.
