Inca Trail To Machu Picchu 2 Days - 1 Night


This is the most famous trek in South America. Where you can see nature and the various archaeological sites and ruins along the way, giving rise to increase the sense of the traveler, as a preview to what you find at the end of the walk. The new archaeological wonders of the world - Machu Picchu. We recommend doing this hike from March to November. Because from December to February is the rainy season. Remember to make your reservation for this trek with 3 months in advance.

1st Day: Cusco - Ollanaytambo - Aguas Calientes

We leave early in the morning with a private bus to Ollantaytambo train station for 02 hours approx. there we took the train to km. 104 of the railroad: Chachabamba point of entry to the Inca Trail 2 days. After 3 hours of walking, we reached the center of archaeological Winñaywayna, where we breakfasted. Immediately after, we continued the walk for another 3 hours to Aguas Calientes, through inti punku (Puerta del Sol), where we can see in the distance, the Machu Picchu Historical Park. In Aguas Calientes, we stay in a hostel with single rooms and double rooms with private bathrooms and hot showers.

2nd Day: Aguas Calientes - Machu Pichu - Cusco

After breakfast we will take the first bus up hill, from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, more or less at 6:00 a.m. Once in Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour, in Spanish or English according to request. After the tour we will enjoy some free time to take pictures, visit other sites within the archeological complex, or climb the Huayna Picchu, the mountain located above the site which provides a panoramic view of the whole archeological site. At 4:00 p.m. we will take the return train to Cusco, arriving to the city center at 8:30 p.m.
