The "Urus", ethnic group of millenary race, unique in the world, inhabits the floating Totora islands north of the bay of Puno. They stand out for being skillful a bold fisher and hunters, crossing the waters of Titicaca Lake, defying storms and the weather in general.

CUSCO - PUNO: ISLAS DE UROS
After picking you up from your hotel we will go to the Port of Titicaca Lake, to board the boat leading us to visit the floating islands of Urus, located only 5 km away from Puno. The island of Urus has no more than fifty inhabitants that will give us their hospitality and welcoming. We will visit three or four islands in a lapse of two hours approximately, enough time to know more of their myths, legends and traditions. At noon we will return to Puno, transferring you back to your hotel.
